I have a customer getting the same problem running pathwork/netware
v1.0d. Is there a patch available for this or do we need to get
the customer up to current version of v1.0e and then escalate it?

    Thanks,
    Chet S.

Yes, get them to the current version of v1.0e
(and then escalate it if that doesn't fix their
     problem).
