1527.0. "PH-Disk utility , HiNote VP?" by USCTR1::SCHWABE () Mon Mar 24 1997 13:04

      User has Hinote VP. Disk was wiped out and Windows 95 reinstalled.

      Now user indicates he needs something called PH-Disk utility in
      order to partition the drive.

      Not sure what he's talking about, but any pointers or clarification
      would be appreciated.

1527.1RAM-to-DISK partition utilityIJSAPL::JANSEN_GTue Mar 25 1997 20:4410
    PHDISK is the utility to prepare a part of the harddisk to serve as
    RAM-to-DISK save area when the notebook suspends.
    PHDISK has to be used (on HiNote VP) prior to formatting the
    DOS-partition, as it makes a non-DOS partition on the harddisk.
    The customer is obliged to generate this utility (and other ...) on a
    floppy from the installation as it comes with his HiNote. I have not
    seen any copy of PHDISK on the web, but you could try to get hold of a
    brandnew HiNote from which it can be generated.
