At first I thought you were looking for a counselor. In which case
someone I trust recommends David Haddad at Lunenburg Family Practice.
But on reading your note again it sounds like you are looking for kind of
an legal arbitrator or something. You might try talking to EAP, though
I don't know if you do referrals for that kind of thing.

Making lawyer referals and such... Isn't that a no-no in the notes
    files??

Since the base note has been deleted, can we either delete this note
entirely or rename/redirect it to discuss ethics/policies of posting
recommendations for outside business' in notesfiles? And since this topic
of recommending outside suppliers of services has been beaten to death in
HOME_WORK, go check out that file first on SERENA::

I don't think there is any problem with recommending any service or
product in a notesfile. The only problems that have arisen, that I'm
aware of, are when people have posted negative comments about same.
Some notesfiles still have a lot of negative reviews though. For
instance, EATS. So clearly nothing has come crashing down on those
who continue the practice. The only time things get stirred up is when
a negative comment gets leaked out of DEC and legal gets wind of it.
But if your mother taught you that if you couldn't say anything nice
you shouldn't say anything at all, then maybe in this matter you should
    follow her advice.

But Vick, if an attorny or service is posted as the best in the west.
And its a out and out lie. What then? I was also under the inpression
from reading other notes files that it was a no-no to post outside
business and their offerings. Gee, confused again....

Recommendations are a gray area; they have been, and most likely
will continue to be. Personally, I rarely post recommendations,
and when I do, I talk about my personal experience. Usually, I
send mail. Always, I try to do the right thing.

But what if you feel that there are very few or no attornies that are
    worth their salt?

Then don't recommend them and don't seek or accept recommendations
    for them.
