I got a surprise phone call today, from a former noter in this file.
Larry Andries called me from home in LA; turns out he left Digital
last June, and never told his noting friends. He asked me to provide
mennotes with this update.
Larry finished film school 11 years ago and has always dreamed of
writing screenplays. He submitted an unsolicited manuscript to Disney
Studios last March, and to his delight, they invited him in for
interviews, and gave him some sort of package deal to produce three
scripts for them over the next year. He's working on one for Touchstone
right now. Anyway, he's chasing his dream and extremely happy about it.
I asked if there was any way for folks to get in touch with him if
they wanted, his home number is 213-837-9352. I *like* it when people
chase their dreams!
