616.0. "Book Recommendation: Absent Fathers, Lost Sons" by R2ME2::BENNISON (Victor L. Bennison DTN 381-2156 ZK2-3/R56) Mon Jul 15 1991 14:16

I want to recommend a good book. It's called "Absent Fathers, Lost
Sons", by Guy Corneau, published by Shambhala Press. I found a copy
at The Toadstool Bookshop in Milford, NH, and also in Booksmith in
Pheasant Lane Mall. If you are a man and your father was absent from
your life, either physically or emotionally, then you may likely find a
great deal of insight in this book. As I read it I kept going, "Oh, my
god, there I am again." The book is well-written.

I saw the book this weekend and some other guys were also
recommending it. I will be getting it myself.

Would you recommend it as good for a father who is currently living
appart from his young son? Is it the kind of book that would be
    eye opening to them?

    Absolutely!

P.S. I'm reading it for a second time now and underlining the parts I
    found eye-opening.
