I thought NT4.0 could handle long file names, but using Explorer
to look at my main directory on BUSY:: I'm missing 200 files.

Am I missing some sort of set-up parameter? I already went to
the options and unchecked "ignore files of these types".

    	Thanks for any info.

There are TWO buttons to check to make sure you see all files. You
must both select the 'Show all files' and uncheck the 'Hide file
extensions for known file types'. You only mention a single change
	in your base note.

Oops, yup, I did have "show all files" checked. I didn't mention
it because I figured that was an obvious requirement.

Scanning through the directory in Explorer, it does appear that
the missing files are greater than the 8.3 format.
