| Psychics have been called in, ones that have worked with the various
police departments in the past. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what
they've said, because I don't know. It wasn't something I wanted to
ask Kali's mother about.
And no, Kali has not been found. There were all sorts of rumors going
around yesterday stating that she had been found, and unfortunately
the rumor got to the media who reported it as fact. The rumor spread
as far as New Hampshire. So needless to say, there was a fresh batch
of tears shed and spirits crushed when the rumors were put to rest.
So, there is no good news to report at this point in time.
The reward has been capped at $30K. The authorities don't want it to
go any higher in case whomever has her has hopes of getting more money
the longer she is held.
I will continue to keep you all posted.

| There are no updates to report. It's been a month since she
disappeared, but we all still very hopeful.
There are over 1M fliers out to date, in the US and 8 countries.
The hotline has received over 9,000 calls so far, and leads continue to
come in daily. I don't believe the police have anything solid to go by
yet.

| No reports since June 24... we are on July 8th. It is a long time
without clues of "where" she can be...
My heart goes to her family... they must be out of their minds with all
this... I do pray for her safe return. Please keep us posted.

edition. They also ran a photo of her and her mother.

| Judy Gifford, Kali's mother, will be on Good Morning America tomorrow.
Judy is out in San Francisco to watch a launch of a satellite that is
going off tomorrow in Kali's name.
Kali's father, unfortunately, attempted suicide two days ago. He is
expected to make a complete recovery.
There are no updates on Kali's whereabouts, and the investigation is
continuing.

| Wouldn't it be much better to do that through official channels like
the Interpol? (Multicountry police)
They certainly can reach any country within minutes with accurate
information/fliers/whatever... though my gut feeling tells me she
could be within the U.S. instead of a far away country... I think our
police should be doing better... there are so many missing children
that the matter is not treated with the urgency and tenacity it
should be... or is it? I don't know, there are just too many unsolved
crimes to think that they are as effective as they think they are...
There are so many broken families with split parents that the police at
times is helpless at preventing the so called "child kidnapping" from
one spouse to the other... that is not police's fault, but the society
we, ourselves, have created... I truly hope that Kali will appear soon!

| There is nothing new to report on Kali. She is still missing, though
the good news is that leads from all across the US are still coming in.
All leads thus far have turned out to be bogus, but at least Kali is in
the national spotlight and people ARE looking for her.
Wish I had better news to report, but unfortunately, I do not.
