I'd like to teach other people to do some of the things I love:
Gardening, needlework, weight training, maybe cooking, and a
host of other things. I'd like to combine this with psych, as
a sort of physical/mental therapy. There are so many people in
this society who are stressed out - I would like to help some
of them find satisfaction in doing one of these things, as a
springboard to finding satisfaction in the rest of their lives.

Now, if they paid therapy/social work people enough to live on....

disturbed children/adults. I did this when I graduated college,
and had to get out of it due to the fact that I was coming home
with $162.47 a week...wish I could have lived on that kind of $,
    but...we all know that story.

But I was truely happy doing therapy, and would love to do it again.
I actually felt that I was doing some good for some less fortunate

    re: the original question

I consider myself to be truly blessed; I've been my dream (performing
musician) in the past and the current group could be the one that
"goes for it" (i.e. brings the original music into a reality you
can see in your local record/tape/CD store).

And I consider myself to be doubly blessed in that I'm getting a
"second chance": a number of years ago, a group I worked with blew
an opportunity for a contract with Columbia records; to think that
I/we might get another shot at the brass ring is almost more than
    I can handle.

I originally got into computers to do computer animation.
Back in 1980 I was out in Hollywood working in the film industry,
but I wasn't quite able to break into the computer animation end
    of the business.

Since then I went back to school for more brain fodder
and ended-up out here in Massachusetts working at DEC, married,
with one young child, and slightly less mobile than before.
I'm still dreaming about making animated movies with a computer
