| There are only two expansion cabinets possible, one for Zone A
and one for Zone B. CMDRIVER may be coded for the possibility of
more, but they physically don't exist. I do NOT recall any such
CMDRIVER-indicted bugs. Offhand, I suspect either a hardware problem
or a heretofore undiscovered programming error in CMDRIVER. I sug-
gest you contact MCS' VAXft Systems competency center in Europe for
assistance in isolating the cause. (Refer to note 595). You may
also want to contact E-Systems, nee Raytheon, about any software they
added to these systems, in particular anything related to monitoring
environmental conditions. (I'm assuming this is the secure communica-
tions network that E-Systems developed for the U.S. Air Force using
VAXft Systems Models 310 and 410.)
May the Schwartz be with you.

| FTSS V1.2B is not the latest version of FTSS & CMDRIVER. While
I don't recall any problems with CMDRIVER version "FTSS V1.2B",
revisions to FTSS and CMDRIVER were made for V2.0. As a possible
solution to evaluate, install FTSS V2.0-1 (FTSSU01020.A). In the
past, I would have referred you to RIGEL::FTSS$KITS *and* I could
have checked the listings on RIGEL to determine what changes were
intentionally made to CMDRIVER. However, as noted elsewhere in
this conference, RIGEL is supposedly on it's way to a new home in
Europe. So, the best I can suggest is to get a copy of the V2.0-1
kit and review the Release Notes.
