             FORUM TO DISCUSS TOWNWIDE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GOALS, 
    		             ISSUES, AND NEEDS
    
    
    			WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 1996
    				7:00 - 9:00 PM
    
    			MAYNARD HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM
    
    
    			    "Help to Shape a Vision of
    			     the Future of Maynard"
    
    
    	The Maynard Citizen's Advisory Committee invites residents,
        community officials, and business leaders to attend its first
    	"Community Development Forum" related to its new "Pilot Planning
    	Program" initiative.
    
    	The forum will provide an opportunity for residents, business
     	people, and other interested persons to share their views about 
    	the town's future.  Express your views concerning needs relative 
    	to community and economic development townwide, affordable housing,
    	infrastructure, public facilities, and other relevant information
    	those in attendance wish to share with the committee.
    
    	The forum will also provide an opportunity for those in attendance
     	to hear and discuss preliminary findings that have emerged as a
    	result of the first phase of the Town's Pilot Community Development
    	Planning Project.  Input received at the meeting will assist the
    	committee and its consultants in preparing recommendations related
    	to a future community development action plan and program for the 
    	town.
    
    	The forum will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday,
    	May 15, 1996 in the Maynard High School Auditorium.  All interested
    	persons are urged to attend and participate.
    
    	The project has been funded through a grant program administered by
    	the Executive Office of Communities and Development.
