The Digital Railroad Club is made up of present and past Digital employees.

The layout is a modular layout that can be set up in less than 2 hours
time. It consists of 4 club-owned corners and a series of 6' straight
sections owned by individual members. One module has a large freelanced
version of the Digital Mill. The entire layout is 14' by 32'.

Railroad equipment that is used includes modern equipment, European models,
including the famed bullet trains, as well as trains from the 50's and 60's
when steam gave way to diesels and modern railroading was born. A special
feature of the layout is Thomas the Tank engine and some of his friends
from the popular TV series, "Shining Time Station".

A special train featured on the layout is an engine and some cars lettered
for Digital Equipment Corporation and depict an example of what Digital
privately owned equipment might look like.

Other displays will show a typical N scale module, various scales of
equipment, kits, literature, and other RR related items.
