89.0. "Can anyone suggest a summer camp for a 5 year old?" by EMASS::NEWMAN (What, me worry? YOU BET!) Wed Mar 23 1988 00:57

My wife and I have a five year old son who will be entering
kindergarten in Maynard in the fall. We are presently looking for some
type of camp-type program to send him to this summer. I work full time
at Digital; my wife works part time in Concord, MA. What we need to
find is someplace that offers a program where we can send my son for
about three half-days (or long mornings) for the summer while my wife
is at work. He is presently enrolled in a daycare environment which he
enjoys very much. However, we are looking for a more "camp-type"
setting and environment for the summer months.

Can anyone suggest anything in the Maynard, Concord, Acton, Stow, etc.
area? My wife works in Concord and will need to drop my son off and
pick him up on her way to/from her job.

Please respond directly to me via SEND/AUTHOR or send E-main to
    EMASS::NEWMAN.

Thanks,

Bob Newman

89.1Camp NashobaFAVAX::MAJORSJust when you thought it was safe to be deadWed Apr 20 1988 18:186
Camp Nashoba in Littleton is great for little kids. A school bus
will pick up and deliver the child at your door. Call Mrs. Seward
in Littleton at the camp. The number should be in the phone book.
