    I have occasion to buy some nice jewelry. I have checked out 
    many stores but have found (I hope) what I want at Masciarelli Jewelry
    on Nason st. He is going to order it and if I like it, I can buy.
    If not, no problem. All this without a deposit. Anyone ever dealt
    with this store before? Is he reputable?
    
    I have heard one horror story about another store in town, although
    I don't recall the name.

    He's a good guy.  The other store, which has been discussed in this
    file is Village Jewelers - bad news.
    
    I stopped by masciarelli's the other day, and nobody home.  Your
    note must mean they were out for lunch or something!!  Good!

    I talked to they guy yesterday. I was so mad because I took off
    from work to go there (I'm looking for an engagement ring and I work
    in Waltham) to find out that he is closed all day every Wed. but
    he is open until 7:30 on Thursday. Still no hours posted on his
    door though.

    I went there last nite.  "for 38 years, he's been closed on
    Wednesdays".  Tough to argue with, huh.  Still a good place.
