2871.0. "Ada Bindings" by TAV02::NITSAN (One side will make you larger) Tue May 13 1997 15:38

What is the up-to-date status for DMQ Ada Bindings for OpenVMS
and/or DIGITAL UNIX? What already exists, what is going to, what
is not going to?

Ada bindings are only available on VMS, and as far as I know,
will be available with V4.0. Ada bindings are not available and
    are not supported on UNIX/NT.

That's quite humorous really, given the problems we are having getting
any major vendor, including Rational, to continue to support Ada 95 on VMS.

    Hello,

The build procedures for our language varients are based on VMS,
however the SDL code is common between all our platforms for
the V4.0 product. I'm not an ADA person, however I would expect
the bindings from VMS to be very close to functional on UNIX/NT,
but as Tim said in .1, it's not supported. The most glaring
problem would be the error return codes, which are totally
    different between VMS and UNIX/NT.
