Hello,

a customer has problems reading his V3.2A CD for HP-UX. This
happens on 3 different systems (HP 9000-800) with 3 different
operating systems: R9.04, 10.02, 10.10.

He tried to mount the CD in various ways, and already received
3 different DmQ CDs!!! Other CDs are readable. 
- HOW does he have to mount the CD? 
- What format is the filesystem on the HP CD kit?

Any help is appreciated,

  This is one of the two reasons that V3.2A was put on Engineering Hold.  The
ECO-1 kit was released to solve one and the HP CDCOM was resubmitted to
manufacturing.  The person was would know the exact status of this is not in
today.  I will request him to respond to this note.

    The original media for Dmq for UNIX V3.2A for HP-UX was made in a new
    HP-UX format that encounters an error in HP-UX itself such that it can't
    be read.  We are making new masters in an older format that will work. 
    As soon as the replacement media has been certified by SSB and is
    available from Digital manufacturing, we will update this notes
    conference.
