My wife and I caught this yesterday, and we both enjoyed it a lot, once
you get by the absurd premise (at least I hope it's absurd!).
Eastwood is wonderful as an aging theif, and Laura Linney is very
believable as his daughter. Ed Harris, Dennis Haysbert, Scot Glenn,
Judy Davis, and the great Gene Hackman fill out a terrific cast.
I'll put the premise in here after a FF and you can decide if it's
as absurd as I thought it was.
BTW, I'd rate this 8.5 out of 10. Could earn Eastwood an Oscar
nomination.

You must believe that the President of the United States would have
rough sex with the young wife of the 80 year old man who was primarily
responsible for getting him elected (E.G. Marshall plays a great
doddering old fool). Talk about a lack of morals!

Hee hee... I agree with -1. That is the most believable thing that
I'll probably see in the movies these day.

I checked this out last night and thought it was good. Everything in
the base note is pretty much bang on. The movie seemed pretty long at
the begining but got goin' after the first half hour. Clint is Clint,
and he even managed to turn a big time thief into a lovable character.
Great job on everyones part. Neat story. Ok action.
