1098.0. "The Graduate" by DECC::SULLIVAN (Jeff Sullivan) Tue Jun 04 1996 16:37

I caught the end of this film on network television last night. I always liked
this movie, but have not seen it in a while. My only gripes being the
commercials, of course, and the sometimes overplaying of Simon and Garfunkel
songs. See below for the IMdb info.

    I have a question about this movie. I'd heard that Mrs. Robinson's
    daughter's bio father was Ben's father. Is this false? Thanks.

    RE: .1  (relations)

    I've seen this movie maybe a half-dozen times over the years (and read
    the book w*a*a*y long ago) and recall nothing that would remotely
    indicate any relation between the characters Elaine Robinson and
    Benjamin Braddock's father. Unless you're talking about the actors and
    not the characters -- I have no idea whether Katherine Ross
    and the actor who played Ben's dad are related.

    But I could be wrong. %^)
