711.0. "Slaughter of the Innocents" by SWAM1::MEUSE_DA () Tue Nov 29 1994 15:40

    Anybody else rented this movie?

One of the better suspense, thriller flicks I rented in a long time.

Can't remember the actors/actresses names. Scott Glen plays the
    lead FBI character.

    Storyline goes like this.

FBI agent hunts down serial killers, after son (computer genius)
stumbles on some interesting facts about some murders of young
    kids.

Well made, lots of action and suspense. Soundtrack adds to the
    creepiness of the movie.

Some gore due to the subject matter, but not that much. No
more than the 6 oclock news these days.

The movie will hold your interest from beginning to end.

It's been on cable [SHOWTIME?] but I've only seen a couple
    	minutes of it.

I rented it. I think it was meant to piggyback off _Silence of the
Lambs_ since it has the same kind of mood, plot and title format.
(This assumes it was made after _Silence_, of course....)

I was a little worried about the kid angle at first, but it had
relatively few stupid moments. Worth renting if you like the genre.
