642.0. "Twenty Bucks" by NETRIX::michaud (Back to the future) Mon Sep 12 1994 15:22

This is a film that follows the path of a specific $20 bill
as it changes hands, and pieces of the lifes of those people
who's hands have touched this bill.

There are obviously several stars in such a film, and the
only one whose name I can remember (and probably the most
well known of them all) is Christofer Llyod (sp?) who plays
	a hold-up man.

Some other characters include a stripper, a groom-to-be,
a small time writer, etc etc. Also to be noted is that
the $20 bill touches (or comes close to in some cases)
some of the same persons more than once.

	Thumbs up.

.2> Or "Short Cuts"?

I didn't see slackers, but did see short cuts. I guess you could
say it was a little like short cuts, except more focused than
short cuts, and a much shorter movie (only 94 minutes I believe)
so it was easier to remember previous events and tie them in.

Not a new framework for a story. In the eighteenth century two novels
based on this premise come to mind: The Tale of a Flea, and The Tale of
a Guinea [a coin]. The variation depends on what aspects of society
the writer/screenplay writer wants to satirize.

There were a slew of big-name actors/actresses in this movie.

Let me see if I can get a cast listing.

I'm working on it, but the network is having problems today
and I'm having trouble copying the file from c:\ to e:\

So I mailed the file to myself from Netscape and I'm still
    	waiting for it.

When you pass the buck, the last thing you expect is change.
