557.0. "The Epic Tail of Pauly Shore" by 8269::CAMERON_S () Wed May 25 1994 05:45

    I am opening this note for discusion of the movies of Pauly Shore.

    So any ideas or thoughts about The movies Encino Man and Son and Law
    can go here.

    We all know that there are alot of people out there that don't like
    Pualy and find his movies stupid and pointless. If that is your view I
    ask that you do not reply. Lets keep this for the fans of Pauly
    Sho-ore.
    			Thank you

    A musterium bowl. Ancient artifacts from the year 500 Alex.

    I think Pauly Shore is funny for MTV but I think his acting career
    needs to be cut short before he makes another movie.

    Oh ya, you don't want to hear my point of view. Too bad, you did
    anyway.

    Dude-

    It's Ancient artifacts for $500 Alex.

    Anyway, after seeing Encino Man about 50 times (no there is NOTHING to
    do in Colo Spgs) I have to say I like Encino Man better than Son and
    Law. Although SIL has Tiffany Amber Theissen (Sp)"She's a Hotty"

    	Has anyone seen anything about a new Pauly movie this summer? If
    there are any people out there who are cinimatically challanged and
    have not had the oppertunity to see either of his movies I have to say
    SEE THEM Believe it or not this is how teenagers in Calif are. At
    least in the Central Coast.

    	hope theres still people out there-

557.3yeah yeah for from whatever8269::CAMERON_SWed May 25 1994 06:2613
    note .1 was ok at least you think he is good for MtV. I just don't want
    people going off on how dumb and insulting his movies are.
    	People from Calif are like that. You should talk to Andy.
    Encino Man is definerty better than Son in Law.

    	As far as the future of Pauly he has a movie coming up this summer
    in which he staitens up and joins the military. I will get more info
    by tomorow buddy.

    Whateve technicalities for from whatever. you can understand everything
    he says any way.

    hey lifes all about greesin the due back and weezin on the bufest.

    Yeah, there's a new Pauly Shore movie coming out this summer, I saw a
    preview for it before "The Crow". As I am wont to do with previews, I
    try to guess if the movie will hit or miss (irregardless of whether I
    like them, and, alas, Pauly Shore=funny completely eludes my sense of
    humor. I think it's the way he talks).

    I wasn't terribly impressed by the preview, which seemed to generally
    consist of a Patton-esqe homage (Pauly, with short hair, in an Army
    suit, in from of a really big flag). I cannot remember the name of the
    film.

    So there ya go, Pauly fans. You have something to look forward to.

    Cheers,

    kim

557.5Will Pauly sell out8269::CAMERON_SWed May 25 1994 22:254
    I don't know if it will realy be something to look forward. It seems
    that Pauly might be selling out. The reaction that he will get if it
    is no good is that he sold out, but if it's good no one will care, as
    long as it is funny. It isn't realy fair but thats the way it works.
557.6In the Army NowQUARRY::reevesJon Reeves, UNIX compiler groupSat Jul 02 1994 04:424
The movie in question is "In the Army Now" and it opens August 5.

Incidentally, the USENET databases list a number of small roles, dating
back to 1988.
