| Yes, I saw it the first week it was out, 'cause my 7 year old wanted to
see it. Since it's rated PG, I went to see it first. If she really
insists on seeing it, it'll wait for the dollar movies. A bit too much
in the language area for little ones, but nothing they haven't heard
before.
Although it was funny in parts, I've seen much better from Chevy Chase
(like all of his previous movies) and even Jack Palance.
The premise is that there's a bad guy living next to the Robbersons
(Chase and family), and the cops want to set up a stakeout in their
home to try to catch the guy red handed. Bad Guy (Robert Davi -- oh,
yeah, that's why I saw the movie) is supposed to be setting up a
meeting with a recently paroled convict, and the cops want to spy on
him and crash the meeting. Of course, Chevy wants to help...
Pretty predictable, but funny in parts.
Okay for a dollar movie; rentals are $2.50-3.00.
