531.0. "Skit movies" by 7892::SLABOUNTY (Is this p_n great or what?) Tue Apr 26 1994 18:46

    	"Amazon Women on the Moon"
    	"Kentucky Fried Movie"

    	[awww, can't remember any more, but one of them was hosted by
    	 Forrest Tucker and might have been called "Outtakes".]

    	Not sure what to call these [and Beth, if you do, could you
    	modify the title?], but they're sort of a cinematic version
    	of "Saturday Night Live", made up of a bunch of small skits
    	and possibly including a "title skit" that's longer.

    	And some of them have big name actors/actresses, as has been
    	mentioned in the Michelle Pfeiffer note.

    	Great stuff!!

    .1> Add the "Groove Tube" to this category.

    oh yeah. "Brown-21" another fine product from "Uranus" inc

    Groove Tube and Kentucky Fried Movie were classioc Drive In movies!

    The same Summer I saw "Groove Tube" a spoof on it came out entitled
    "Sex on the Groove Tube". It was really stupid, but entertaining.

    It was rated-R (not a porno flick). The main plot was something along the
    line of a female Vampire (of sorts) who extracts um... fluids from her
    male victims leaving them in a state of um... rigimortis - yah that's it!

531.3"Tunnelvision" [1976]KOLFAX::WIEGLEBBudding LudditeTue Apr 26 1994 19:496
    There was also "Tunnelvision" [1976], which had Phil Proctor (of
    Firesign Theatre), Chevy Chase, Al Franken & Tom Davis, Laraine Newman,
    and misc other folks. I saw it when it came out and recall it being
    intermittently amusing.

    Monty Python's Meaning of Life probably counts.

re: .0, Shawn

"Outtakes" with Forrest Tucker is correct. Might even have been his last
film if I recall properly. Was produced on videotape as "Sony Video
Software".

Stay Tuned claimed to have a plot, but was mostly in this category.

Hollywood Shuffle.

And Now for Something Completely Different.

[However, I don't think I'd include Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl, as
that was more of a concert film.]
531.7Elephant Parts..7950::PONCELoRyderWed Jul 06 1994 15:155
     How about Elephant Parts.....a great little film by one of the
     Monkies...(Nesmeth I think)...very camp and funny.
