	My son and I received Panther Productions -Kaman Muay Thai
	video tapes in the fall. Specifically we have Blocks and Counters;
	Leg Kicks -Take Overs and Punching and Elbow Techniques.

	We,son and I, work out with a small group of people on All-Range
	fighting techniques (as well as transitions from ranges) and felt
	Kaman's tapes might compliment our training concerning the kicking
	and punching to clinching (trapping) ranges.

	We were right - Kaman's tapes were excellent for the purpose.

	Positives:

	. You get your moneys worth content wise tapes run about 1 hr
	  and are very comprehensive

	. Great training aids - use real speed (actual fight footage),
	  gym drill speed and slow motion of all techniques taught

	. The types of drills are varied between partner pair and 
	  focus mitt drills 

	. Kaman's voice overs are for the most part helpful and timely

	Negative:

	. My son finds some of it repititious and boring and is very
	  thankful for fast forward (I don't agree) he favors the Jet's
	  tapes over Kaman's

	If anyone is interested we use a good deal of different videos
	and I can provide some more of our humble opinions.

	By the way my background is Judo,JiJitsu,Boxing a little Savate
	(some years ago in Boston from Sigurd Orgins) and Kickboxing.
	This is complimented by lessons learned as a young man growing
	up in California in areas where there was plenty of streetfights
	to learn from (hard lessons for a gentle natured lad).

    I am certainly interested in any reviews you may have of any other
    videos.  Videos, I have found, can be a great training aid, but at
    their current cost it is nice to get an idea of the quality before you
    purchase.  
    
    btw: I have purchased several Panther videos in the past and have been
    predominantly quite satisfied.

	Just got Mike Swains and Michael De Pasquale jr's video
	entitled Combat Judo / Streetwise Ju Jitsu.

	Mike Swain is, in my opinion, the quintessence of Judoka having
	among his many Judo credentials world and Olympic Judo 
	championships.

	Micheal De Pasquale Jr is a superb Ju Jitsu (Yoshitsune-Waza) 
	practitioner and instructor.

	It seems that the main purpose of the tape was to demonstrate 
	sport judo techniques (Swains role) and then to show the Ju Jitsu -
	street application of the technique or to show the Ju Jitsu
	approach in a similar scenario (De Pasquale Jr's role).

	Both men did a very, very, excellent job - it left me thirsting
	for more content. Well worth the 45 bucks or so I spent.

	Judo Throws: Tai Otoshi, O Ouch Gari, O Soto Gari, Uki Waza and
	             more in less detail.

	Grappling:  Lot's of chokes and armbars - some good detail on Judo
	            guard fighting and some very intersting variations for
		    street use. Micheal offered street variations of Kesa
		    Gatame which I feel Judoka could really gain from.

	The only negative I could find was that at times De Pasquale Jr. 
	 rambled - even he noted it at the end of the tape in a joking 
	 manner - but this was hardly more than a minor distraction for me.
	
	I'm now convinced to purchase Mike Swains Ne Waza tapes and more of 
	the Yoshitsune video's as well. This tape compares very well to the
	Panther Production series of tapes.
