    I have a VMS system running V6.2 of VMS. I wanted to upgrade Rdb from
    V4.1 to V 6.1. CDD Plus was at V5.0 so I upgraded it from 5.0 to V5.3.
    The upgrade ran Ok but when I tried to upgrade the repository I got the
    error message:
    
        CDD$UPGRADE.CDDX file found in SYS$COMMON:[CDDPLUS].
        Skipping EXPORT and proceeding directly to IMPORT
    
        There are no more questions.
    
    
        Importing into repository SYS$COMMON:[CDDPLUS]...

    Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this problem?

    Isn't 5.3 the one that went up to ECO 9? Did you install the ECO kit
    before trying to upgrade?
    
    And I'm unclear on the RDB...did you actually do that upgrade before
    doing CDD ?

    I remember me having problems when there was an old export file laying
    around. Once removed it worked ok.
