730.0. "Notesfile may be hazardous" by CIVIC::MCETTRICK () Thu Sep 03 1992 19:23

Being a new bird owner, I come to this file often looking for info and
answers to basic questions. Last week I went looking for info on
"moulting". Dolly is approaching 6 months and wasn't sure if she was
too young, etc, etc. But anyway, I find myself reading anything and
everything that has the work "Cockateil" in the Title. I read about
feeding, biting, bugs, bleeding, picking, falling, sneezing, talking,
    even pooping!

My comfort level was improving, and I do mean WAS. I went home that
night and dreamed (is that a word?) actually it was a nightmare that
    Dolly's Wing Fell off!!

So just a warning, this notesfile may be hazardous to you mental
    health!

This morning my Wife was telling me about a dream she had last
night about Cory. Her parents have two VERY LARGE cats (one is about
20 lbs!) and she dreamt that Cory was for some reason living in the
house with the cats. She came in from being outside and found that the
cage was open and Cory was no where to be found!!! She ran around
frantically and finally saw the two cats sitting together sleeping and
then, after further paniced searching, she found poor little Cory
sitting on her parents bed hiding behind a pillow! I said, you must
have been going crazy in that dream! She was. I think it reminded her
of the time he flew outside. Except then he was so scared he just sat
in the neighbors yard and yelled for her to come get him.

    Tom,

Where does that cat live? Tad"duc (one of our dogs) would love a trip
to that neighbourhood for his birthday!

These cats are so big that I think just about any dog but the most
brave would shy away from them....it would be like putting a Poodle up
    against a Mountain Lion!
