565.0. "Cage size for my amazon" by PROXY::HOLLIS () Wed Jun 12 1991 14:44

    Hi,
      I would like to know what size cage would be the BEST for
    my double yellow amazon. Price is not that important because
    I want him/her to have the best that it could have and i only
    want to buy ONE cage to last a long time. My main concern is
    his comfort, the only time he/she will be in the cage is when
    he/she is going to bed for the night or when we are not home I
    intend to let him out of his cage at all other times.

    Thanks in advance
    Bill

565.1Money no object? gimme a call!MR4DEC::CWHITEWed Jun 12 1991 15:1910
    I would suggest something in a 'large' wrought Iron with a large
    door..... easier to get in and out of, and loads of play room!

    And if will offer room for expansion for when you really get to
    know the bird and want another, and another, and another etc etc.

    If price is no object, then theres a million of em......take a look at
    ANY bird talk magazine.....

    I have the Inglebrook Pyramid for my African Grey and she loves it!
    There is lots of room for her to move around and play . The basic
    shape of the cage also helps to control the mess...Check them out..

	If Money is *no* object....look in Bird Talk
	at the WEBB Stainless Steel and the Animal
	Environments cages....

	Personally I prefer the AE cage because of the
	arrangement of the food dishes, but both cages
	are easy to clean large, well layed out and
	are good at mess containment.

	In both cases, the cages are virtually built
	to order, so you call the number, and they
	will give you a mail order time.
