Hi
I heard on the Radio(WBZ) this morning that "THE LARGEST AUCTION OF EXOTIC
ANIMALS" was still going on in Macon, Missouri. Anybody know anything
about this ? I am not about to go, but was curious.
They mentioned Rhino's

Yup, I read an article about it in (I think) Animal Agenda last year.
Not a pretty story, it was written by someone who was undercover to
expose the cruelties. It sounded like most of the animals were large,
ie. zebras, ostrich, tiger, etc. but did mention birds, though nothing
specific. Not exactly the type of people I'd want to keep company
with.

ANIMAL AGENDA is a magazine that details alot of animal abuse/cruelty
issues. It also has articles on endangered animals and how people
can help. Classifieds list non-animal and non-animal tested products
etc. It has some very informative and sometimes emotional issues. I
almost grabbed a copy this morning but didn't know if anyone would be
interested. I will bring one tomorrow and post subscription info if
you want. I pick one up occasionally at Earthward in Milford NH
