| We stopped by on Sunday. It is in the vicinity of the Westford
Regency Hotel, near the Digital facility at the intersection of
495 and Rt 225/110, yes, in a small mall.
He had the one umbrella cockatoo, a few cockatiels and budgies, along
with one very nice Amazon parrot out on a stand...and two puppies
in a display cage right next to the front door, getting blown by a bad
draft everytime someone went in or out. Maybe puppies are not bothered
by drafts the way birds are? Anyway, I have to assume/hope that the puppy
situation was only temporary (we were there for about ten minutes).
The owner seemed very nice. He's only been there about a week.

We also stopped by PETS PETS PETS this past weekend and were very inmpressed.
We saw the abused Cockatoo, and it turns out that someone had put a deposit
on a cage with the intent of buying this abused bird. According to the owner,
the customber put down a $50 deposit, took the cage agreeing to pay $50 per
week until paid, and they haven't seen them since. So they got a beautiful
cage for $50, and the poor COCKATOO is still left in the store. (Which may be
a blessing in disquise, because it doesn't sound like the deal would have
worked out well, anyway.) The owners were extremenly friendly, and we chatted
with them for quite some time. They are visited by the ASPCA at least twice
per month and have had no problems with that. They are obviously animal
lovers of all kinds, as they own many of their own. They had their pet
ENGLISH BULLDOG at the store, and he was very friendly also.
Prices are average, and cages were very clean and neat.
In reading a previous note, it was mentioned that the puppies and/or birds
were getting a draft when the door opened. The birds have been moved to the
other side of the store away from any drafts. They had no puppies at the time
we were there, so hopefully, this has chnged also.
Good experience from our perspective.
