| There's some information in the UK_CARS notes about this (note 1241).
Apparently one of the Ferrari team leaders suggested publicly that
Senna could bring the car in as a winner, which didn't please the Prof
very much. Since he's pretty outspoken anyway, he suggested some
counter possibilities, and so on.
Prost is also saying he's not too happy with the way the Italian press
are treating him, and perhaps they would prefer Senna. His little
passing trick on Sunday won't make him more popular with the Italians,
either.

| I've got some information on this - taken from the French weekly Auto Hebdo.
(This is also posted in UK_CARS).
More on Prost's "difference" with the Italian press. Apparently, in a
television interview last Thursday, he described them as "a load of s**t" - or
words to that effect. The press have latched onto this and turned the heat
right on him. The sins that he has committed, and which have been reported in
the press, include the following:
- Failing to get the world championship last year
- The departure of Mansell - who is now back at the top of his form (was Prost
responsible for this as well!)
- Eviction of Fiorio
- Uncompetive equipement
- The supression of the competitive streak in Alesi
- A display of driving which is not that of a World Champion
- Everything that has gone wrong at the Scuderia since his arrival!
