    FOR SALE:

Four 15"x7" alloy wheels with 5 lugs (pattern 5x100), offset for a front-
wheel-drive car. They are from a Dodge Omni GLH, but will fit any Dodge
FWD car with 5 lugs. These are the same wheels that are on the Shelby Z
Daytonas. They may fit other car makes too (I think Chevy Cavaliers use
the same pattern for example). If you have 14" wheels on your car now
and want to try out a lower profile tire, these wheels will solve half
your problem, and at an attractive price.

The wheels are in good condition, and currently have 195/50HR-15 Goodyear
Eagle GTs on them with marginal tread. These wheels cost ~$200 each from
the dealer, I'm looking for $100 for all 4, but you MUST take all 4.

Four racing springs to fit a Dodge Charger or Omni, or Plymouth Turismo or

For Sale - 1 of 2 Chrysler 2.2 liter engines

I've decided I have one too many Chrysler 2.2 liter engines sitting around,
so I'm going to sell whichever one goes first, then after that the other
one is no longer for sale.

Engine #1:

Fully balanced and blueprinted 1985 2.2 High Output (non-turbo), all
stock parts (meets SCCA IT or Solo SP regs), ports matched but not
ported, 10.5:1 compression. Approx. 2000 (mostly street) miles on it.
Runs good, pulls hard, est. 120 hp. Come fully assembled and complete
   minus alternator and air pump.

Over $3500 into it, asking $2000 (negotiable).

Engine #2:

   - Stock 1985 High Output short block with approx 96k miles on it,
ran good when I took it out, pistons and bores look good.

   - Stock 1983 cylinder head, unknown miles but clean and works good,
includes cam and all valve gear.

   - Stock 1985 High Output intake and exhaust manifolds, intake includes
stock Holley 2 bbl electronic carburator.

I will assemble this engine for the cost of parts (basically 2 gaskets)
plus a negotiable (small) fee. Would like to consider these together, but
will talk about individual pieces, especially if you want the block.

   $200 takes the whole kit.

1977 Honda Civic 1200 -- Must sell, asking $1900 but very willing
                         to bargain!

2-time ST4 champion in COM Sports Car Club; 3 wins in 3 events so
far this season. Turns 1:25s at NHIS on the SCCA configuration (south
oval, north chicane). Cheap to buy, inexpensive to run. You can't get
more bang for the bucks!

Mods include:

o Engine is stroked to 1355cc for increased low-end torque and
runs Honda Goldwing pistons for higher compression ratio, intake
and exhaust are match-ported, mild grind (3/4) race cam (A jewel,
revs without strain to 7500 RPM, smooth and powerful, built to
    last)

  o 32/36 down-draft Solex carb or 40/40 side-draft Dell'orto
(you get both), K&N air filters

o Custom exhuast header with 4-into-1 collector and 2-1/2 inch
    pipe to gutted muffler

  o Allison electronic ignition

  o Electric fuel pump

o Stock springs cut 1-1/2 coil, Tokico shocks, 19mm swaybars
    front and rear

o Brakes from Civic station wagon to increase swept area,
Repco Metalmaster semi-metallic pads, drilled rotors

  o 5 x 13 steel wheels; 9 wheels total, 5 mounted with 185-60/13
A008RS Yokohamas (only 3 races old), 4 with street tires

  o Full 5-point Simpson harness

o Autopower rollbar with front downtube braces for added door
    protection and chassis stiffness

*Useful* spares! Not a lot of junk, but many miscellaneous parts
you'll actually use, and mostly new, direct from Honda: tune-up
parts, switches, bulbs, belts, Repco brake pads, oil filters, and
more. Some typical used spares also, including radiator, starter
motor, voltage regulator and more. Talk to me about tools as well
if you're interested.

Ugly but fast. No money in body, all underneath. This car stops
and turns with *anything* on street rubber. Well-balanced, easy
to drive fast. Registered and inspected for street use in addition
to race. Drive it to the track and win. Fully legal for COM ST4
class, EMRA ST4, New England hillclimbs in U5, and (I'm told
anyway) legal to run DSP in SCCA Solo II.

5.24WANTED: 10" diemeter steering wheelASDG::ZETTERLUNDMon Mar 29 1993 20:2917
I'm looking for a formula car type 10" diameter, non-dished steering
wheel. I'm wondering if any of you RACERS out there might have a cast
off from an old race car or might know where I might find one (I know
that J.C. Whitney has cheap ones, but they're a little out of character.)
I'm not too concerned about the particular drilling pattern for
the hub since I don't plan to use it in a race car. So why do I want
one? Well, I'm in the process of building a more realistic "joystick"
for my Microprose "World Circuit" F1 simulation game. You see, I have
this naive belief that I will turn quicker laps, hit fewer cars (and
walls), and do less "agricultural motoring" with more conventional
controls. BTW, the game is just as good as the posted reviews say it
is. I hope it becomes popular enough for for Microprose to issue updates
or for "Flight Simulator"-type track and car design software to appear.
That way I could get some extra track time in my BMW 1600 at NHIS, LRP,
WG, etc., during the long winter.

I found that the Indy 500 game was much better after I bought a yoke
instead of just using the keyboard. I also thought of rigging up a
steering wheel but never go around to it.

Work at ZK (Nashua), live in Lowell.
    Car is in Lowell.

I hope this is the right notesfile for this (I've also posted in
    CARBUFFS and CLASSIFIED_ADS):

Is there anybody out there who wants a cheap junker to take to the
track next spring? (you know, Enduro racing or whatever it's called in
    these parts)

I have a 1977 Chevy Caprice. It starts, runs strong, needs some work
to make it street worthy. Lots of body rust (mainly driver's side
door). Tires are all of fairly recent vintage (at least two are less
then two years old, not all that many miles on them), has a very recent
battery (replaced this past spring). The car is ugly, but if you're
just going to run into somebody on a track, you might not care. :)

It's big and it's cheap and with the mechanically inclined to do some
work on it, it would probably even be a great winter car. I don't want
something this big anymore -- I don't need it.

I'm not looking for very much -- just want some money to help towards
the rent. :) I'd love to see $100 out of it, if you don't think it's
worth that, make me an offer. I won't turn down anything reasonable.

    Cheers,

I have 6 Indy 500 tickets for sale for this years event. They are
in Grandstand "H" seats 1 - 6 , row BB. These are high up in the stand
and are between the exit of turn 4 and the entrance to the pits.

These are excellent seats and this year they have built a new stand.
You can see them out of #3, through the short chute, through turn 4 and
    down the main straightaway.

I am selling them at face value which is $50.00 a piece.

    Thanks,
