My folks took my Chinese name and put western names based on the
meaning of the Chinese name. You might consider how that might work
for you.

Thank you for your suggestions. Since we have not picked up
Chinese names yet, I guess that won't help. The baby will
have a Chinese name but we don't think two names need to be
related.
