580.0. "The force is with you...." by SKYWAY::RIESEN () Mon Aug 27 1990 07:12

    Hi everybody,
I am reading this conference since I am working for DEC. That means
since January. I am from Switzerland, finishing the DECollege, that
is a new kind of formation here. The DECollege consists of a non-stop
8-months formation on the most common topics of DEC's business...

So, but what I want to say now is that I am planing to get married
next year (I just spoke to my girlfriend's father and we are now
    beginning to organise our wedding...).

We both are 25, my first name is Pascal and my future wife is Ariane.
I just can't stand having children. We both already thougt about
it and feel ready (another reason why I am here).

So, we don't know yet precisely when the first one will come but
we already thought about names. As we both love the USA, most of
them are inspired by this country...Jennifer or Jessica would be
our first idea for a girl and I'd like to have a little Gregory.
I know these names are common in the USA but so aren't they here.

Just let us know if you have any suggestions ok...it will help us
    to wait.

By the way, my last name is Riesen.

So, have fun with your kids and enjoy all what they bring you...see
    you soon. Pascal

Alexander is a very popular name in the USA right now. And I think
it sounds very good with your last name.

    Chris

580.2Partial to GregoryPFSVAX::LILLYMon Aug 27 1990 13:115
My brother's name is Gregory Scott and I always thought that was a
beautiful name. My mother said it came from two movie stars, Gregory
Peck and Randolph Scott. Good luck!

Christopher for a boys name is very common in the US also. My son is
10 months now and his name is Christopher Paul. He was born October
10th, the day after Christopher Columbus Day. Another good name for a
boy is Sean. My 4 year old is named Sean.

Hey folks, I didn't know this conference was so active...I just
want to thank you all for your kindness....keep going will you.

I think this is just giving me another problem, which one to choose
now, Alexander is all right but I didn't think of Sean, Christopher
is very common in Switzerland too but I'd like to find something
that is not...let's free your imagination then...buy the way, what
    about girls names ?

    See you Pascal

Amanda is the name of my dog, so, it doesn't go... I have been living
with a Kate and don't think my future wife would appreciate...The
rest is all right but I would have expected more imagination...uncommon
    things...

    Continue please Pascal
