951.0. "What do you think Regina Anne??" by BIGQ::LENTO () Wed Jun 22 1994 14:14

I am looking for opinions for the names Regina Anne Lento (for girl)
or Matthew Michael Lento (for a boy). I haven't decided if I like the
name Regina. I like the nickname Gina. I don't want my child named
    after a carpet cleaner.

I am due in the beginning of August. My husband and I have have
changed our minds about babynames, since we found out I was pregnent.

Some of the names we picked were:

    Girl Boy

    Corene Anne Kenneth Michael
    Grace Anne McKenzie Michael

We are going to keep the middle names, but have no idea about the first
    names.

Thank You for any help or suggestions you might have. I have a feeling
the baby will be born with no name.

    Hi,

I think that Grace Anne is pretty. I have a niece that has the same
name. She is 3 years old now. I am due on July 12th and we are
thinking of Robin Anne (after both mothers) for a girl.

    Best wishes!

If you like Gina but not Regina, just name her Gina!

Thank you for your comments. I thought being pregnant was stressful,
but picking a name for another person that you don't even know is
extremely stressful. What if they don't like it? What if they grow up
saying gee thanks mom for picking the most ugly name in the world!!

I know that is an exageration but it really could happen.

any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I have 6 more
weeks before the baby is born.

    Hi Nancy,

I reread your original note, and it sounds like you are really against
Regina - a vacuum cleaner. If you have that idea in your head, it will
stay there. I agree with another noter that if you like Gina, then name
her Gina Anne. I also agree with another noter that Grace Anne is very
pretty - Grace is one of my favorites. So, I can't really give you my
choice. Maybe you could consider a few others:

    Sarah Anne Lento
    Marissa Anne Lento
    Christine Anne Lento
    Rebecca Anne Lento

    Best of luck.

Just my opinion but it seems that a 3 syllable first name sounds
really good with your last name.

    Cassandra
    Katrina
    Christina
    Jennifer
    Alexa

    good luck with your decision!

I would like to thank everyone for their advise and suggestions on
picking names. I think we have come to a decision. (I could be too
    hasty).

    For girl Victoria Anne Lento
    For Boy Tyler Michael Lento

So far my husband likes these names. This is a big deal too. Dave has
vetoed everyname we have picked out after about 1 week. These names
have lasted about 2 week now.

Thank you. Good luck to everyone else picking names. Hopefully you
will have an easier time of it than I.

    Nancy
