937.0. "Names that go with Waters." by TECRUS::BWATERS () Wed Mar 16 1994 19:08

    I'm looking for suggestions for Boy's and Girl's names to go with
    the last name of Waters. So far, the only definite is that the
    Boy's middle name would be Ellis. (It's unusual, but it's a family
    name that we want to carry-on.) And we believe the girl's middle
    name will be Yvonne. (I'd consider Yvonne for the first name, but
    my husband disagrees.)

    The name Daniel Gregory Waters is already taken by our son.

    Have you noticed that in several cases, the initials spell a
    word? (MEW, NEW, DEW, etc.) Something to keep in mind....

    I REALLY like Nathan Ellis Waters also.
937.5Still undecided. Boys names down to 2.TECRUS::BWATERSWed Mar 23 1994 16:1715
        My husband and I like
                    Nathan Ellis Waters and Richard Ellis Waters

        For girls names, we had thought of
                    Victoria Yvonne Waters and Julia Yvonne Waters
        but Victoria seems too weighty and I'm not positive about Julia.

        A name I heard once and think would be great is Siobhan (Sheevan),
        but my husband isn't convinced. I'd like something unusual or
        uncommon for the girl's name.

        Thanks to those who replied.

    Well, we're on baby #3 and once again I am looking for baby names.
    While I was at it, I came across my old note. We hadn't settled on
    a name before our second was born (6 weeks early). We came up with
    it that night at the hospital:

    			Brian Ellis Waters

    We both think it the perfect name for Brian. He's got the most
    beautiful orange-colored hair and blue eyes I've ever seen. (His
    parents don't have either trait.) People tell us his name fits.
    His first name sounds Irish and he looks the part.
