    I'm looking for names (boy/girl) to go with Carter. I like Brock as a
    boy's first name, & my wife likes Hephzibah (I can't spell it!) as a
    girl's name (1st or 2nd).
    
    Its difficult to say Brock Carter without it all flowing into one or
    having a coughing fit halfway thru'! and the H name needs a fairly
    ordinary alternative in case daughter wants to change it when she's a
    teenager (cos teenagers do that sort of thing). Baby's due end of June
    and we don't know the sex.

    I have friends whose surname is Carter ... they have two little girls
    named Lauren Daisy and Holly Charlotte.  I think that both Lauren
    Carter and Holly Carter sound really nice.  I know that for a boy they
    had Samuel picked out.
    
    [For reference, the parent's names are Mark and Michele, which I think 
    also go well].

Sorry, but I'm not too keen on either of your choices, so I don't know if my
taste in suggestions will be to your liking, but here goes... Lots of names
go nicely with Carter, so you should have a wide field of choice.

    I like the girls names (my wife is Helen Lindsay & I have an Aunt Daisy
    who ws originally Carter), but I'm not so sure about the boys. I think
    I'm looking for something new-ish but not trendy or old-ish but
    unusual. I'll keep thinking (with only 4 weeks to go...)
