| When I was there young, there was a program on TV (here in Quebec,
Canada, the program was in french) with a little bear called Misha.
He was always getting in trouble. This is probably why when I hear the
name Misha I only see a little bear.

| My husband, who is Russian descendent and speaks the language fluently, told
me that Misha means little bear.
Our first born was named Michael Daniel Chaplinsky and we call him Misha. If
you call him Michael, he will correct you and say (to me) 'No mama, Misha'.
Our second child was named Alexandra Marie Chaplinsky and we call her Sasha.
I would just love to have another child and have the opportunity to pick
out a new name. I remember at the time it was a very difficult decision;
I kept wishing that I was pregnant with a cabbage patch doll (don't they
come with a name) instead of a baby. :^)
