660.0. "Need help with names for St. Laurent" by NODEX::STLAURENT () Wed Mar 27 1991 11:46

I've seen many great suggestions for names in this notes file, and
since we're having trouble deciding on a name for our soon-to-arrive
addition (due April 21st!), we'd like to see what the "experts"
    suggest. 8-)

We already have a daughter named Kimberly Ann and a son named
    Jeffrey Joseph.

We don't know if this will be a boy or girl, so we need names for
both. We'd like the first name to possibly end with a "y" because the
our first children's names do. We also intend, if it's a girl, for the
    middle name to be "Maria".

     Possiblities are:

      Bethany Maria

      Gregory ???

     Any help would be appreciated!

     Thanks,

     John and Lou

What do you think about Gregory John? I like it! I also like
Gregory Steven and Gregory Michael. For other boys' names ending
in -y, there's Zachary, Jeremy, and Bradley.

Bethany Maria doesn't do a whole lot for me; I neither like nor
dislike it. However, I'm at a loss of girls names that end in
-y...there are lots of girls nicknames that end in y (Vicky, Debby,
Tammy, etc). The only names I can think of that I like are Amy and
Ashley; which both sound nice with Maria. I also think April Maria
would be nice for your April baby but it doesn't fit your -y
    requirement!

    Good luck!

More girls names ending with a "y":

    Emily
    Mary
    Nancy

I like Gregory St. Laurent. For a middle name how about:
    Gregory Matthew
    Gregory Andrew
    Gregory Alexander
    Gregory Benjamin
    Gregory David

Another "y" boys name you might like is Zachary.

Those in the last note where very NICE boys names! (timothy, wesley...)

For girls ending in Y: (Those sounding like Y - could always be spelt
with a Y). i.e. Melanie - could be Melaney and so forth... also

Johnelle Maria St.Laurent or Maria Johnelle St.Laurent are very pretty
    - of course they don't end in Y - but...

Others: January Maria St. Laurent (just a thought!) Acutally it's
kind of nice! She could be called Jany.

Bethany Maria St.Laurent is very very pretty!

660.7A very late update - Gregory JohnNODEX::STLAURENTWed Jul 03 1991 18:1320
Sorry for the late update, but I've been in training since I came
    back from "vacation".

Gregory John was born on April 16th at 10:18pm, weighing in at
8 lbs 2oz. This was suppose to be a "planned" Caesarean, scheduled for
April 18th, but mother nature wanted to show who was in charge! 8-)
(The early Caesarean was because labor had started, no other
    complications.)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I had never considered John as a
middle name, but I liked it when I read it and Lou was said that was it
    when she heard it.

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

John and Lou (and Kimberly and Jeffrey and Gregory 8-). It seems
to take forever to sign cards these days... 8-) ).
