611.0. "HELP! LONG LAST NAME" by POBOX::BARTOLAMEOLL () Fri Nov 16 1990 18:36

    My husband and I are expecting our first in July. I know we have a
    long way to go but we are SO EXCITED that I couldn't help creating my
    own request for suggestions of Babynames. With a last name like ours,
    it could take until July before we find one that we both agree on. All
    your help will be greatly appreciated!!!

    Our last name is Bartolameolli. We have only two names picked out for
    boys...Anthony Joseph or Nicholas Matthew. For girls we are pretty
    much up in the air. Although, we do "kind of" like Alexa Marie.

    I would really appreciate any suggestions that will go with a long last
    name such as ours. I think the names will have to be relatively short,
    but your opinions would be great.

    Regards,
    Very Excited Pregnant Mom....Kris

    Oh, I know what you mean, my last name is Bartholomeus. Fortunately
    it is my maiden name, so perhaps one of these days I will get something
    shorter. My brother and his sis-in-law just went through the same
    thing, trying to find a fairly short first and middle name. They
    named their little boy Jordan Gray Bartholomeus.

    I really like the names you are considering, Alexa is one of my
    favorites.

    Here are a few other suggestions:

    I agree the first names should be short. How about Anne Marie?
    Good luck and congratulations!

611.5Keep the Suggestions ComingPOBOX::BARTOLAMEOLLTue Nov 27 1990 16:489
    Thanks to all of your suggestions. We still haven't seen anything
    that "jumps out" at us, but we still have quite a ways to go. We still
    tend to like Anthony and Alexa.

    Keep the suggestions coming, I print each one off and take it home to
    the Hubby.

    Thanks,
    Kris
