    I'm confused....I guess that means that Claire isn't a good name
    as it isn't working out too well on her resume :-) :-)
610.2Claire is good enoughRDVAX::TRENDdip in the roadMon Nov 19 1990 13:593
    Claire has been a bookkeeper, store manager & customer service rep, and
    is currently looking - I still feel that my point about business cards
    is well taken...

    I think the point is...

    Don't give your child a name that will look rediculous on a resume.
    For (a rediculous) instance; can you imagine hiring someone for a high
    position job, look at their resume, and get faced with

    Of course, I could be wrong!

    This is a matter of interpretation. Each persons idea of a high power
    name might be different from the next. My girlfriend's brother and his
    wife named their daughter E. Darcy. The letter E. in this instance is
    used as her first initial and is representative of the two
    g-grandmothers, Esther and Elizabeth. I asked my friend why they didn't
    name her Darcy E. and she replied when she asked the same question, her
    sister-in-law replied because E. Darcy Olund would look great on a
    resume.
