559.0. "______ Micheal McEndree" by ODIXIE::MFERNANDEZ () Tue Jul 24 1990 01:20

    I'm back again, this time for a friends baby. The names they are
    looking for are for a boy.

    The last name is McEndree, and they want Micheal included.

    Current suggestions are:

    	Miles Micheal McEndree

    	Alexander Micheal McEndree

    	Drew Micheal McEndree

    I like it Micheal Alexander or Micheal Drew but I'm open for any
    ideas. Any history to the name would also be appreciated.

    :^)  Mig

    How about Christopher Micheal McEndree ?
559.3How about a short one?SMAUG::RLAMONTFri Jul 27 1990 11:509
    How about Ross Michael McEndree? Has a nice "flow" to it. I prefer
    the shorter, one syllable first names with a longer middle name and
    last name. Something about it levels off the name entirely. Also,
    I found that although YOU as parents might call your child by his whole
    name, not many others do, so the first name has to flow into the last
    when you leave OUT the middle name.

    Good luck.

    My experience is that most first names are shortened if not by
    family members, then by friends of the child (I know a boy who was
    called L.J. rather than Larry, Larry Jr., or little Larry, and his
    friends shortened it to "L"!).

    I like Ross, not too common but not "strange" either. Other short
    names are Paul, Dean, Sean, John and they would all sound good with
    a middle name of Michael.

    PS. Mig, what did you name your son (Note 548)?
