Hi all out there in the world, When somebody ask me my surname everybody has to ask twice. I wonder why nobody knows it or why this name is only in Switzerland given. I travelled a lot, but I never met anyone saying he knows my name except when he was swiss. By the way the female name like Beatrice, Beatrix is very popular all over the world. Can somebody tell me if he has ever heard "Beat" as a males' name? thanx a lot Beat

I've never heard of it - only lived in New England states in USA. Is Beat your whole name or is it a nickname for something else? Yes, I have heard of the feminine forms but never knew anyone with those names either. Chris | |||||
