535.0. "Names to go with Wenners" by MENSCH::WENNERS () Thu May 31 1990 11:47

    Hi,

I am expecting our first child in early November.

I never thought it would be this difficult to pick out names. My
husband and I have a difficult time agreeing on names we both like.

So far the names we have agreed upon together are: Girls: Amy Suzanne
or Lindsay Suzanne; Boys: Gary Joseph or Scott Joseph. What do you
noters think, please help us out so we can pick a name for each and put
an end to this big debate.

Thanks for any and all help!!!!

    Joanne

different, but fit the child perfectly.

    My child is Courtney Brooke

others were Tenli Elizabeth Craig Thomas
                   Hali Annalise Corey James
                   Shyla Marie
                   Allison Marie
                   Kaitlin Francis

Our second Child is due the first of December and some of the names
we have so far...a boy will be Robert and a girl....

                   Annsley
                   Alexis
                   Cora

They are not all common names but they may give you some ideas....Good

    re: .1

I like your list of family names, but it could be that I'm biased...
My daughter's name is Allyson and my step-son's name is Craig -
    both appear on your list.

They're all very interesting and nice, BTW.

    re: .0

I'm a big fan of the name Amy. Lindsay is nice too, but I like Amy
better with Suzanne. Congratulations on your baby-to-be. You too,
    .1!

535.3Amy S. and Gary J.BARTLE::WHITCOMBMon Jun 04 1990 17:3312
    Congratulations on your soon-to-be child!

I like your choice of names, and out of the few you listed, I would
have to say that Amy is the better name for a daughter (Lindsay seems
to getting quite popular lately, and Amy is my twin sister's name...).

For a son, I liked Gary better than Scott, because Gary is less common,
and Gary seems to have more personality ring to it.

    Whatever you choose, GOOD LUCK!
