| I've heard both names, and I think they're beautiful. Fiona is one of
my FAVORITE names. (I'll name my first daughter that!) Yes, I believe
it IS Scottish, although it's also very popular in other parts of Great
Britain. Does anyone know what it means???? Aydine is really pretty
too.

| Yes I am rather fond of the name we chose for our little girl. Also it
doesn't offend any of our families as no-one in the immediate family groups
have those names.
Don't know what Fiona means. However my wife Kathy has 2 very good
friends called Fiona. She invited them for dinner last week, so not only
was I surrounded by 4 beautiful girls (and they are all that) but 3 of
them were Fionas.
Where did you hear the name Aydine before? My one is only the second one I
know of.

D*mn, d*mn, d*mn. I should have thought about it.
We are living in Holland, so the Dutch tend to pronounce Aydine as
Aidine. Comes out sounding like Iodine. I keep having to correct
people.
My wifes name is Kathy, the Dutch pronounce that Katty and as for
mine... Anyone know about the Dutch hard G?
