491.0. "Help my friend!" by BSS::HILLIGRASS () Sat Feb 03 1990 13:34

I have a friend who is having a baby in two weeks. She is pretty
sure she is having a girl. I am looking for suggestions for names
to go with SEAY (pronounced see). She wants the name to be
    romantic and feminine (ugh!).

So far she has come up with Scarlett and Anjelica. (double ugh!)

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated and I sure she will have
fun looking at the way that DEC people communicate...

    Hello Sue

You're looking for a romantic und feminine girls name??

I knew a girl from San Diego and her name was really uncommon (at
least for me). I like this name very much and I think it goes pretty
good with the last name of your friend:

    So what about Ria (ri:a)

I also like the names Vivianne and Dominique.

    Good luck to your friend!

    Jeannette (from Switzerland)

I like the name Dominique. I also like the suggestion of Rea (or
spelled Rhea). I have to disagree with Vivianne; every one I have ever
met by that name was a snob, but that's just IMO.

Romantic and feminine? How about the ultimate in romance; Juliet?

    Other names:

    Jillian
    Alicia
    Diana
    Maria
    Victoria

    Sue,
    A suggestion fm Italy;

I like very much the name JASHMINE, is very
romantic and feminine, don't you ?
What's more romantic than a flower

    Ciao

    Hi Sue,

    How about--- Adrianna or Camille.

By the way, tell your friend that I like Scarlett. It may have been
my choice but it doesn't go with our last name of Lilly.

Yes, I like Scarlett too. I also like Jasmine (suggested earlier)
and here's a new one - how about Twyla? As in Twyla Tharpe... (is
that how her name is spelled?) Anyway, my sister's husband thinks
Twyla is just about the most romantic name he's ever heard. Could
be because one of his friend's wife has that name and she is supposed
    to be absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks for all the input. I talked to my friend yesterday and
she is stuck on Anjelica Scarlett Seay. I will take all the
suggestions to her and she will love the way this system works
but it looks like the baby is going to have a mouthful of a name.

Personally my fav's were Victoria, Tara
                                              and Jasmine!
