Hi,

I'm due Sept. 7 and my last name is 2 syllables and begins with M.
Is this a coincidence or what!?! Right now our top names are
Rose Lynn and Brendon Steven, but we still have a long time
to change our minds. We like to use names in the family for
middle names, so you might want to think about your family
names to go with some of the names you picked. Here are some
        other ideas:

	Molly Ann Charlotte Regina
Rose Marie Brianna Lee (changed from Brianne)
        Megan Marie Chelsy Sue
        Mathy Ann Leslie Sue
        or just plain Maryliz

James Alexander Kyler James (different from Kyle)
        Sean Greggory Bret Alex
        Douglas Kyle Keith Patrick
        Douglas Allen

I think girls names are easier to come by than boys, too.
        Have fun picking!

        Amy

    re:-1 (Amy)

Where did you find the name "Mathy"? Or was that a typo? I've
never heard of it before and was wondering what its origin is.

    re:.0
I like your choice of Gregory (or Greggory, I think you put)
but if you want more suggestions, how about:

Craig (my step-son's name) with Thomas as a middle name

Now, I just asked my secretary about names in her family (her
last name is Marron - 2 Rs) and she said they're all over in
Ireland. Is your heritage Irish as well? If that's the case
you might want to consider names like:

    Shane
    Colin
    Patrick
    etc...

At any rate, you've got a good last name to work with and in
my opinion, you could go with a one, two, or even three syllable
first name. Someone else suggested "family" names for middle
names. That's a nice idea... I did that with my daughter's
    middle name.

Good luck and oh yeah, CONGRATULATIONS!

    You too, Amy!

I don't really know where it comes from. My cousin's name is
Mathis and we all call her Mathy. She says she hates Mathis,
    so I didn't suggest it.

I am VERY sorry to say that I have miscarried, today is my first
day back to work. I started having trouble in the middle of the
night on Feb. 2 and had a emergency D&C. I was 8 1/2 weeks along
and was beginning to feel like I was "out of the woods" as far as
the 3 month hurdle goes. I am trying to have a positive outlook,
it took me 2 years to become pregnant and just knowing that I can
get pregnant is what is keeping me going. I have faith that in
a few months I will be back in this note file asking for help with
    boys names again.

    Re .13

I was 11 1/2 weeks when I had my miscarrage. It took me a long time to
get pregnant the first time, too. However, I got pregnant again after
my third regular cycle (I was advised to have two normal cycles before
trying again). I was amazed that it happened for me so quickly the
second time. Now I am 14 weeks. I was not sick the first time, and
this time I was sick every morning (which I am just getting over).

It was real annoying to listen to everyone say "it happened for the
best; nature takes care of things that aren't right, etc." The only
thing with this time was my husband and I didn't talk about being
pregnant until just recently. The excitement was not there like it was
    for the first time.

Good luck to you. I hope it happens again quickly for you, like it did
    for me.
