Somewhere in here I was reading names and their meanings. I came across Roni (Hebrew for "my joy"; "my welcomed arrival". I have two sons and would gladly try a third time to produce a girl. Wouldn't "RONI" be a great name - considering the definition. I also like Bonnie. I saw a birth announcement with a beautiful hand drawing of a baby in a basket and inside it said "...tis a wee bonnie babe" I loved it!!!!! I also like the name "Kelsey". I only know of one other Kelsey in my life (not counting Kelsey Grammer of CHEERS fame). I would use it for a girls name, though. Now that I think of it the two names I have chosen for my boys have been used for either gender. Kyle (my first love for a boys name) and Ryan (my second love for a boys name). Note: there is no Irish in any of us, I just think these are beautiful names. I have always loved Bonnie Blue Butler (all my kids have blue eyes, watch this would be the only one with brown!!) I love this file. I enjoy reading names and their meanings. In Bible times we always read of a persons name and then the meaning of that name. Great thought went into naming children then, as it seems it does now.

Well I'm back. How many years later??? Still no girl. (Not that we are trying...) Both boys asked me the other day what their names meant and I couln't remember Kyle's. Then last night it hit me - I'll check the babynames file. Sure enough, it's still here. -sandy |
