NAME MY FRIEND CALLED HER LITTLE BOY SHANE, AND HE IS ADORABLE.
YOU CAN ALSO SPELL SHAUN LIKE SEAN WHICH IS THE GAELIC FOR JOHN.
HOW ABOUT SEAMUS PRONOUNCED (SHAYMUS) WHICH IS THE GAELIC FOR JAMES,
OR JUST SHAY WHICH IS QUITE A COMMON NAME HERE.

| I think you need a 2 syllable to go with Rock.
How about Steffan (pronounced with accent on first syllable)?
I've only ever heard the name once (in a movie- All the Right Moves:
Tom Cruise was Steffan).

I am not sure how it is pronounced, but I found it while searching my
family tree. Sela was one of 12 sons of an ancestor of mine.

thought Sean was masculine spelling and Shawn was feminine spelling.
