I'm sure there's another note in here somewhere for Irish names,

    Greetings.

I went to school with 4 sisters, the Cosgraves, whose names were:

    Roesheen
    Bronwyn
    Brigitte
    and Shevawn

These are about as IRISH as girl's names can get.

    I can't think of any boy's names but here's another girl's name:

April - because the baby's due in April or how about Avril (French
    for April).

    Hope I helped you somewhat.

Caitlin is Irish Gaelic for Catherine, that's my cousin's daughter's
name. It's becoming very popular these days in the states.

    re. -1

Those are 4 names I've never heard before, Thanks!, I'll run them
by my sister, (she changes her mind every day now.

I love the name Bronwyn, mentioned earlier. We ruled it out because
our last name is Warren. (Try saying THAT three times fast!)

I have a friend with a daughter named Cailin, which the name from
which Colleen evolved. I like it.

I have a friend named Deirdre (little different spelling) and I've
always liked that name, my sister didn't turn her nose up at it....
(That's good). Colleen is my cousin's name so that's out.

    Thanks for the ideas!

My wife is Irish. Her name is Catriona which I believe is really
the correct Gaelic version of Catherine. Caitlin is the Gaelic
for Kathleen. Others: Fiona, Maureen, Mairead, Mary.

Boys names: Kevin, Barry, Dermot, Brenda, Conor, Liam (Irish for
    William), Gerard, Emmett, Brian.
