    For the past five years I have followed a local company based in
    Mobile, AL called QMS, Inc.  Ticker symbol is AQM.  They are a
    manufacturer of intelligent laser printers in a market dominated by the
    HP Laserjet and others.  A couple of years back they bought IMAGEN to
    add higher end print systems to their product line.
    
    Over this period of time the stock has been as high aas 26 and low as 
    6 1/2.  It seems to run up 100% then loose half its value, bang around
    in the celler for a few months then move back up.  
    
    Most recently I sold several hundred shares purchased at 11 in 1992,
    for about 17.  The 17 price was within the past 2 months.  Today the
    stock is 8, and in fact, had a trade at 7 3/4.  News on the street in
    MObile is that this most recent decline is because Prudential
    Securities, which makes a market in the stock, removed it from their
    recommended buy list.
    
    Question... does anyone have any additional information, broker or
    otherwise on this stock?  I am interested in a 6 month play and am
    looking for some 3rd party feedback to check my sanity!  
    
    If I come across any additional information of interest I will post it
    to this note as a response.
