| I'm a member, and have been very pleased with them. They emphasize
education, and have specific programs and methodologies which they
teach so that you develop a disciplined, objective method of evaluating
stocks and managing your portfolio. They publish a monthly magazine
called Better Investing and have some investors fairs around the
country. The one in the Boston area is coming up next month, I think
(I just got the information in the mail, but it's home), and I find
those a lot of fun as you get to listen to a few speakers from several
different companies as well as mingle and talk to other investo
My experience with them over the past few years has been very positive.

Read note 192.3 in this conference, it has a brief
description of the NAIC. I am also a member of the NAIC, thru an
investment club I belong to, and share the same positive attitude about
them.
